Complete 20 practice sessions of at least 20 minutes each between June 13th and August 14th, 2026.

Eligible Instruments

Practice sessions must be on pipes, drum pad, snare, bass drum, or tenor drum.

How do I enter the challenge?

You need to sign up for the Worlds Challenge 2026 from within the Octero app. Once you join, all your eligible sessions from June 13th, 2026 count towards the goal, even if you join after that date, so you won't miss out on practice you've already logged.

How do I track my sessions?

Simply use Octero during your practice sessions. The app will automatically detect when you're playing and track your session time.

What counts as a valid session?

Any practice session of 20 minutes or longer where you are actively playing your instrument counts towards the challenge.

Can I join if I'm not competing at the Worlds?

Absolutely! The challenge is open to all pipers and drummers who want to improve their playing, regardless of whether they're competing.

How do I see my progress?

Your progress will be visible in the Octero app, showing how many sessions you've completed and how many are remaining.

* Prize details: Two prizes are being given away, both generously donated by Maverick and Jim Kilpatrick Percussion. A Maverick Standard Practice Chanter will be awarded to a piper, and a Jim Kilpatrick Pro Pad and Lightweight Practice Pad Stand to a drummer.
No cash alternative. Draw open to all users who complete 20 x 20 minute eligible sessions before August 14th, 2026. One entry per user/account. Two winners will be selected at random (the chanter drawn from eligible pipers, the pad and stand from eligible drummers) and notified by email. If a winner does not respond within 14 days, a new winner will be drawn. Prizes will be shipped to the winners at no cost. We reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. By entering, you agree to these terms and our decision is final. Open worldwide unless prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of MusoLink Pty Ltd are not eligible.
